As of September this year, London’s KLC School of Design will introduce a one-year Level 6 BA (Hons) Interior Design course as a progression route for students who have successfully completed the Level 5 KLC Diploma in Interior Design. Validated by the University of Brighton, the course opens up the potential for career changers to achieve a degree in two years.
One of the distinctive characteristics of the BA (Hons) course is the opportunity for students to collaborate with professional practitioners, enabling the sharing of wisdom, experience, up-to-date skills, knowledge and methods of practice alongside respect for scholarship.
The challenging and carefully-focused curriculum has been developed to provide further opportunities for study, research and critical analysis, in order to broaden the students’ technical knowledge and skills to meet the increasing demands of the industry.
The 120 credits at Level 6 will widen career opportunities for graduates entering into the profession both nationally and internationally, particularly into commercial design practices.
