Critically-acclaimed British product and interior design brand, Lee Broom, has been named as a winner of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise – the UK’s highest accolade for business success.
Lee Broom receives the award in the category of International Trade, in recognition of achieving significant international growth and increased year on year export figures.
“We are delighted to have won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. It is always an honour to be recognised for our designs and especially for our contribution to flying the flag abroad for Great Britain,” says Lee Broom.
Lee Broom established his brand in 2007 with co-founder and business partner Charles Rudgard. Since focusing on international expansion in 2012, the company has increased oversees trade by 303%. Today, Lee Broom products are sold in over 120 retailers in more than 40 countries and have been featured in interior design projects all over the world.
“Coming straight after our very successful exhibition during Milan Design Week, we know there is a significant and growing global demand for high quality products designed and made in Great Britain,” says Charles Rudgard. “We are honoured to receive this award for designing, manufacturing and selling our unique British lighting and furniture products all over the world.”
A press reception for the award is expected to take place at the company’s premises within the next two months.
