Naturally Fast Food chain, Leon, opened the doors to its 21st restaurant today at Stansted Airport. “This year marks our 10th birthday, and opening in Stansted is a big part of our celebrations,” says Leon co-founder and CEO John Vincent. “When we opened in Carnaby Street in 2004 and first started working out how to make and serve naturally fast food, this is exactly what we dreamt of creating.”
Leon is important to the airport’s redevelopment, which is designed to deliver new and exciting brands to their passengers.
Head of Retail Food & Beverage for M.A.G Jo Macey said: “Leon is a very exciting concept in the healthy fast food market and their arrival into Stansted is another stepping stone on the £80million transformation taking place to improve facilities for our passengers. Operated by HMS Host, this will be the first time Leon have featured on the menu at Stansted and I’d like to wish them every success with what will be a very popular option for passengers seeking low calorie food that tastes good and does you good. The great selection on offer can be enjoyed either before the flight or taken away to eat on-board.”
Leon’s expansion is set to continue with 12 new openings planned for 2015, creating around 800 new jobs.
