Following its appointment to operate the former Qbic London City Hotel this summer, RBH Hospitality Management has re-branded the hotel as The Corner London City.
The 183-bedroom East London property is enviably positioned near many iconic tourist attractions and some of the city’s best street food, eateries and nightlife within the bustling districts of Whitechapel and Spitalfields. Complete with slick new self-service check-in stations, informal meeting spaces, a chick restaurant and bar area, and quirky bedroom designs, the hotel will appeal to leisure and corporate guests alike.
The property’s notable green credentials will continue to evolve under RBH management, having already previously achieved an average of 41% less water consumption than other UK hotels, and 67% less CO2 emissions than industry average. It benefits from electric car charging points, endless innovative recycled installations from the local area and a team committed to uphold a reputation as London’s greenest hotel.
“The takeover and rebrand of The Corner London City on a tight timetable is one of many exciting projects we’ve been delighted to work on this year and the uniqueness and vibrancy of the property is an excellent addition to our growing portfolio,” says David Hart, CEO of RBH.
“We pride ourselves at RBH on an ability to react quickly and provide customised solutions for hospitality investors who find themselves in unique situations and this project has demonstrated every one of those traits. The efficiency and determination of the entire team to execute a rebrand of this nature is testament to their fervour for getting back to what they know and love as quickly as possible – delivering exceptional hospitality.”
The addition of The Corner London City comes at a pivotal time of expansion for RBH, with two new London openings coming up this Autumn – Gantry London, Curio Collection by Hilton and Westin London City, increasing the number of London RBH-managed properties to 13.
