The Langstone Hotel is almost half way towards completing a major project to transform more than 100 of its bedrooms.
The ambitious project has seen £700,000 invested in making improvements to the four star hotel’s rooms over a five month period.
The first phase of the refurbishment got underway in October, with a total of 103 rooms earmarked for improvements by early February.
So far, 42 rooms have been upgraded and the hotel has so far received excellent feedback from the guests who have stayed in them.
The project will see the carpets, lighting, curtains, chairs and artwork in the rooms all replaced, while the bathrooms will all be updated with improvements including new showers and taps.
A new heating system has also been installed at the hotel to enhance guests’ experience.
Refurbishment work at the hotel, managed by the UK’s largest independent hotel management company, Redefine|BDL Hotels, is expected to be completed by 16th February next year.
“This £700,000 investment has allowed us to make some fantastic upgrades to our rooms,” says Clint Marsh, general manager at The Langstone Hotel. “The feedback from the guests who have stayed in the rooms we have transformed has been absolutely amazing.
“The investment underlines the commitment we have to continually improving the hotel to offer our guests the very best experience. We have put a lot of thought into the improvements being carried out and we are sure they will prove popular with our regular guests and newcomers alike.”
The Langstone Hotel, on Hayling Island offers striking views of Langstone and Chichester Harbour, while offering easy access to Portsmouth.
