CRÃME, the award-winning, Brooklyn-based design and architecture firm led by Jun Aizaki, welcomes Masako Fukuoka as Director of the firm. In a first time appointment of such an experienced team member, Fukuoka will support Aizaki with the leadership of CRÃME’s global projects and operations.
Following a twenty year tenure at Jeffrey Beers International, most recently as Principal and Design Director, Fukuoka has a robust resume of hospitality design experience that includes landmark projects such as The Cove at Atlantis and One & Only Resort Palmilla. Sharing the unique pairing of a New York City based interior designer with a Japanese background, Fukuoka aligns perfectly with CRÃME’s global talent profile and continued growth in Japan.
Jun Aizaki, Founder and Principal of CRÃME comments, “I have known and admired Masako’s work for many years, and her arrival is perfectly timed with our growth in Japan.” He continues, “We’re proud of the collective talent in our studio, and Masako’s addition to our team will position us to go to the next level.”
Masako Fukuoka, Director of CRÃME, adds, “There are so many synergies that make this a very exciting next step for me personally to reconnect with my roots in Japan. I look forward to working with Jun and the team to help CRÃME grow and reach their next goals as a firm.”
Fukuoka will be based in the firm’s Brooklyn, New York office.
