Meliá Hotels International has announced the addition of two new hotels to its luxury portfolio, set to launch in 2023 in Mexico. Gran Meliá Hotels & Resorts will open its first hotel in Mexico, Gran Meliá Riviera Nayarit, and ME by Meliá will continue growing in the country with its second hotel, ME Guadalajara. The addition of these two new properties demonstrates the brand’s international growth and reinforces its commitment to the region, offering superior-quality experiences in one of the top travel destinations in the world.
Gran Meliá, renowned for its heritage and sophisticated luxury combined with Mediterranean influence, will open the 180-key hotel in the destination well-known for its natural beauty, just 70km from Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific coastline. With 180 rooms and suites in addition to an array of facilities, the hotel will offer guests with a highly refined and luxury experience where attention to detail and service are of the utmost importance.
Following the success of ME Cabo, ME Guadalajara will open as the second ME by Meliá hotel in Mexico as well as the brand’s first urban hotel in Mexico. The brand will bring its unique style, personality and luxury lifestyle approach to one of the most cosmopolitan and cultural cities in the country. ME Guadalajara will comprise 152 rooms and suites, as well as a sky pool and signature rooftop area. In line with other global ME hotels, the hotel will also offer a wide range of outstanding dining experiences.
