Miiro, the new lifestyle hotel group with a characterful collection of hotels in Europe’s most interesting neighbourhoods, has announced plans to welcome a boutique hotel in Gstaad, Switzerland to its collection. Opening in time for the start of the 2024/5 winter season, The Mansard will join Miiro hotels in St Germain, Paris and El Born, Barcelona, with new properties coming to London and Vienna next year.
The 29-room hotel is ideally positioned in the centre of Gstaad, an idyllic ski destination located in the Swiss Alps. Open year-round, the hotel will feature a restaurant, offering the finest quality local ingredients from the Bernese Oberland, the only rooftop bar in the area, boasting panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, a sauna and Miiro’s signature Refresh Room, as well as ski storage facilities.
The Mansard is owned by Miiro’s parent company, InterGlobe Enterprises, and has been operating as an independent hotel from May 2024. The Mansard will reopen as a Miiro hotel later this month following the rollout of a comprehensive brand training programme and a series of thoughtful enhancements to elevate the hotel and guest experience in line with the Brilliantly Considered Miiro brand.
Neena Gupta, CEO at Miiro and Executive Director-Group Strategy and International Hospitality for InterGlobe Enterprises said: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming The Mansard to the Miiro collection this winter, as we continue to explore new opportunities to grow the brand in interesting neighbourhoods across Europe”.
She continued: “Its location on the main street in Gstaad, places Miiro guests at the centre of this charming alpine destination, where world–class shopping, dining and outdoor activities are just steps away. Like all Miiro hotels, The Mansard will offer Brilliantly Considered stays that champion local partners, friendly service and the opportunity for our guests to recharge, while also becoming a welcoming spot for locals and visitors to enjoy, whether it’s for a morning coffee or evening drinks at the rooftop bar”.
