A taste of authentic Spain has arrived in Piccadilly with the opening of Morada Brindisa Asador on Rupert Street.
Drawing on 25 years of experience, this latest addition to the Brindisa portfolio offers Castilian gastronomy, and was designed by interior design firm, CantorMasters.
Set in a discreet yet vibrant location in Rupert Street, customers are greeted by a striking oak-fronted, marble-topped central island bar around the open kitchen.
With counter eating now a popular choice by many, dinners can sit at the bar and watch the team of chefs preparing authentic dishes with ingredients sourced from Spain’s finest producers, or enjoy a relaxing drink and some top quality charcuterie.
The restaurant design is dominated by natural materials inspired by the colours and textures of Spain. The impressive main restaurant floor tiles were sourced from near Valencia, and are of a burnt umber and warm orange with a traditional motif. Weathered brass wall lights contrast against the rough plastered walls and there is contrast of rough-hewn, lime washed oak screens and natural oak cross sawn table tops.
Commenting on the design of the new restaurant Monika Linton of Brindisa says: “The site looks absolutely beautiful. It is warm, spacious, stunningly decorated and I love the colours. It’s cosy yet elegant and very enticing with lots of different places to sit and eat, drink or read a book.”
Neil Masters said: “This has been an exciting project to work on with Brindisa and we are delighted to have helped to bring a taste of authentic Spain to this corner of Piccadilly through our design, which sits comfortably with the fantastic food and drink served at the restaurant.”
