In 30 days time, the NEC will open its doors for the first time to the UK’s only dedicated furniture components show, Elements.
Taking place from the 2nd – 5th October, the brand new exhibition will be home to a wide range of finishing products for the KBB, furniture production and interior design markets.
An invaluable event for the forward-thinking designer, architect or shop fitter, the bi-annual show will feature more than 50 of the biggest industry names from the UK and abroad and offer an opportunity to see the latest product launches before anybody else.
There will also be three unique, interactive zones to experience, designed to aid industry professionals and reward talent.
The Skills for Excellence Zone: Whether you’re looking for a career in the furniture and design industry or looking at ways to enhance your existing business, the Skills for Excellence Zone is here to help. Working with The British Woodworking Federation, savvy career advisers, specialist recruitment agencies and business gurus will be on hand to answer questions and offer sound advice.
The Elements of Innovation Zone sponsored by Ney: The dedicated Innovation Zone offers you an opportunity to see the most groundbreaking products and design concepts to enter the marketplace. Open to all exhibitors, a winning product will be judged in advance by a panel of industry experts.
The W Competition: Four talented apprenticeship finalists from around the country will take part in a four-day competition that will see them create a unique piece of furniture. The W Challenge, which will take place live at the show, will be run by training experts, Didac and supported by Felder and AMS Machinery. The winner of the competition will be awarded with a prize at the end of the exhibition.
The four-day show will be co-located with its long-standing sister exhibition, W16. Open to Elements visitors, the dynamic exhibition will showcase brand new woodworking machinery and materials for the furniture manufacturing industry.
