The Simpson’s hotel in”Aberdeen has been purchased by the owners of a five-star property in”Edinburgh, and will re-open in January 2014 following a comprehensive construction and refurbishment programme.
Re-branded as The Chester Hotel, the 49-bedroom venue will benefit from a £5m overhaul. This will include the refreshment of its existing guest rooms and lounge bar, and the creation of 14 additional bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, and a large function suite.
