Pub Stuff, leading suppliers of contract furniture to the pub, club and hospitality and leisure trade have announced their new charitable giving scheme, ‘Community Stuff’.
The scheme has been designed to provide much needed resources to community oriented organisations looking for quality, durable, attract contract furniture to meet their needs when creating social meeting points for community support projects.
“We’ve created the Community Stuff charitable giving scheme to create a structured response to the increasing number of applications that we receive asking us to support community projects by providing contract furniture” said Pub Stuff director Sally Huband.
The scheme will operate on a first come first served basis providing applicants with access to available furniture which may include bar, café, restaurant and pub dining tables and chairs, high and low button stools, poseur tables, tub chairs and sofas and a selection from the outdoor furniture range.
Applicants can visit Pubstuff.co.uk/communitystuff to download the grant application form and will need to provide details of the community cause and how the furniture will be used. Grants are more likely to be awarded where the furniture will be used to engage groups benefitting from the community/not for profit organisation.
“We will make awards on the individual merit of the application and they will vary in size from project to project at our discretion,” explained Sally. “Delivery will follow our normal delivery schedule and is provided free of charge. As part of any award we make, we will also offer a basic design service to provide guidance on how to make the best use of space”.
