Award-winning full-service architectural firm, Retail Design Collaborative, has marked its 40th anniversary with a company rebrand and a new name – RDC.
As part of the new RDC ethos, the firm will focus on a more holistic, multi-disciplinary approach to design across four main practices – retail, hospitality, entertainment and interiors.
The goal is to raise the firm’s visibility across multiple verticals, leveraging its 40 years of award-winning experience.
“RDC has always set out to make everyday places extraordinary and, looking back at the past 40 years, I am honoured and humbled to see that not only did we accomplish that goal, but that we as a firm became a part of it,” comments CEO Brad Williams, AIA.
“While putting out clients first, we always take a look inside our own company to see how we too can evolve and improve as a firm and as a socially conscious business. It’s this introspection that drove us to rebrand and offer a more robust suite of design services under the new RDC identity.”
In 2019, RDC will be working on a myriad of projects, including Erewhon Silverlake, Los Angeles; Del Mar Town Centre, San Diego; Maya Cinemas; Aldi; Equinox, and several large developments soon to be announced in San Diego.
