The 16,000 square foot all-day restaurant, designed by SAY Architects, will be the flagship dining destination within the much-anticipated Centre Point revival. With 290 covers, VIVI will occupy the main floor of the bridge link at Centre Point, overlooking London’s newest square and Oxford Street.
The restaurant’s vibrant interior will include digital art, geometric patterns – including the original tiling down the wings of the grade II listed space, a central marble bar and signature lighting mimicking the original 60’s toy Play Plax.
“We are delighted to be developing another distinctive new food and drink concept in what is one of the London’s most iconic buildings,” comments PB Jacobse, MD at rhubarb. “We have every confidence that VIVI will reflect the creativity, style and precision synonymous with the rhubarb brand”.
Following an extensive multi-million-pound refurbishment, VIVI is set to make its mark on London’s gastronomic map, strengthening the rhubarb operation which includes outlets in some of London’s most important visitor attractions and high volume sites including Sky Garden, Royal Albert Hall, Saatchi Gallery, Heathrow T3 and T5, London City Airport, Royal Ascot Racecourse and Goodwood Estate.
