British tea and coffee merchant, Ringtons, has secured six new accounts, worth a six-figure sum per year, to supply some of the Midland’s leading hotels with hot beverages and supplies.
The 106-year old company has agreed contracts with prestigious venues such as the Barnsdale Hall Hotel in Rutland and its on-site self-catering lodges, as well as the Horsley Lodge Hotel in Derbyshire, which was a finalist in the Derbyshire Restaurant of the Year award. The company has also secured new accounts with Quorn Grange Hotel, Leicester; The Great Victoria Hotel, Bradford; the Heritage Park Hotel in Leicester; and the Tollgate Hotel and Leisure complex, Stoke-on-Trent.
Ringtons Beverages division supplies cafes, restaurants, hotels, and offices with high-quality tea and coffee, as well as catering equipment and barista training. The division has been operating for over 30 years. The new accounts signify the start of a substantial period of growth in the Midlands region for Ringtons, which anticipates 10 further new contract wins in the first few months of 2014.
Clive Wood – who heads up sales for Ringtons in the Midlands – comments: “I have personally worked in the leisure and hotel industry for over 20 years, and know just how important tea and coffee are to this sector – after all a good cuppa can make all the difference to a good night’s stay, breakfast or an evening meal. At Ringtons we are able to offer the ideal solution for businesses – a high-quality product, great service and a visually-appealing range, and this is why I believe we’ve made such an impact in the region.”
