Bistrot Pierre Rooms is housed within a striking Grade I Listed building in the Royal William Yard. Originally constructed as a British Navy victualling facility, the site has been redeveloped to create a vibrant neighbourhood complete with 215 apartments and 115,000 square feet of commercial space.
The new hotel is situated just across the Yard’s Green, opposite the Bistrot Pierre‘s pre-existing restaurant, where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.
It has been designed by Plymouth-based architect Gillespie Yunnie, which has been responsible for the aesthetics of the entire Royal William Yard development.
Partnering with award-winning regeneration company, Urban Splash, to deliver the designs, the architect has helped to create 14 suites, celebrating the building’s Georgian surroundings, with original features retained and complemented by contemporary additions.
“The rooms are ideal for business people, couples, friends and families,” comments Rob Beacham, co-founder of Bistrot Pierre. “We have double, king, super king/ twin and suite rooms which can sleep up to five people. We’re particularly pleased to include car parking in our rates – as well as breakfast within our Bistrot, which is just a stone’s throw from the rooms.”
