RPW Design has welcomed Caroline West as director of projects. Caroline is an accomplished project director and chartered architect with 28 years’ experience in the construction industry. During the last 15 years, she has specialised in project management of hotel developments – both new-build and large-scale complex refurbishment schemes.
Caroline joins RPW as the practice has been appointed to work on the refurbishment of London Marriott County Hall.
Caroline says: “I am delighted to be joining such an accomplished design consultancy and getting to know both the team and projects. Initially, my priority will be to make sure that we maintain and continuously improve the high standards of design and project delivery which makes RPW an industry leader in the field of hospitality and leisure design.”
Jan Wilson, MD RPW Design adds: “Having known Caroline for many years, we are delighted she is joining us. As our client at Grosvenor House, she was always an absolute pleasure to work with.
“Caroline’s experience of sitting on the other side of the table will also ensure that the practice remains equally as focused on programme needs as it is on design requirements. Her understanding of the various challenges and difficulties of managing teams and projects from a client perspective will complement and strengthen the team at RPW Design.”
