Sir Victor will marry Sir Hotels’ signature design, lifestyle, food and beverage, with access to local culture with the property’s stand-out architecture, location and programming.
The hotel will also launch its own Sir Explore programme – a new initiative started this year by Sir Hotels, which connects guests to in-the-know locals for bespoke experiences.
Situated in the heart of Barcelona’s modernist district on Passeig de Gràcia, Sir Victor will boast 91 rooms and suites, each uniquely designed and inspired by the Catalonian lifestyle of sun, sea and style.
Public spaces include a restaurant, two social spaces, a gym, a state-of-the-art spa and a sensational rooftop pool and terrace bar overlooking major historic buildings such as Casa Milà and the Sagrada Familia.
The hotel is named after Victor Catala, the pen name of Caterina Albert i ParadÃs, one of the first female authors recognised in the history of Catalan literature. She is a symbol of the fight for gender equality and the hotel will feature a library dedicated to her works and legacy.
“We are honoured to have the opportunity to grow the Sir Hotels portfolio in one of the most legendary neighbourhoods in Barcelona and to make Sir Victor our newest home in Spain,” says Liran Wizman, founder and owner of Sir Hotels.
“With this space, we aim to build upon everything we fell in love with over years of visiting the city and the property by refreshing the design and integrating the drinking and dining spaces, as well as the programming that have made the Sir Hotels a standout collection.”
