Integrated property services and project delivery specialist Styles&Wood has won two contracts worth over £2 million in Dubai’s fast-growing hospitality sector.
The business’ joint venture with Dubai Transport Company, DutcoStyles&Wood (DS&W), has secured the £1.25 million (AED 7.5 million) refurbishment of the Jafza Convention Centre’s food court, and a £900,000 (AED 5.5 million) fit-out for luxury restaurant La Cantine.
DutcoStyles&Wood will deliver a full fit-out at the 50,000 square foot food court, situated on the first floor of the Jafza Convention Centre, including new ceilings, flooring, furniture and glass steps connecting areas with raised flooring. At La Cantine it will provide a full design and build service including the creation of a Parisian-styled terrace over-looking Dubai International Financial Centre.
The new hospitality wins follow the refurbishment specialist’s recent completion an 11-week project, worth £700,000 (AED 4.5 million), to fit-out of Bushman’s Australian Grill at the Palm Resort and Spa.
Sandy Stirling, Business Development Director for DutcoStyles&Wood, said: “Preparations for the 2020 Expo are providing a real shot in the arm for Dubai’s hospitality sector, creating a healthy market for high quality fit-outs. As the region gears up for a significant boom in visitor numbers we expect to see a high volume of restaurant and hotel schemes coming to market.
“Securing these high-end schemes is a testament to DutcoStyles&Wood’s growing reputation for delivering valuable, quality projects.”
