London-based Suna Interior Design has been nominated as a finalist in the Bathroom Contract Designer of the Year and Kitchen Contract Designer of the Year categories at the National Kitchen and Bathroom Awards 2014, organised by kbbreview magazine.
Rebecca Tucker, co-director of Suna Interior Design, says: “We’re delighted to be a finalists in the awards again this year – it’s a testament to all the hard work and dedication that we put into each project and the quality of work we produce.”
Helen Fewster, co-director at Suna Interior Design, adds: “We have had great success at these awards in the past and we are very proud of that achievement. We will be keeping our fingers crossed that we are able to continue that success at the forthcoming awards night.”
“The bathroom design was for a development in East London – The Orchard for Mount Anvil,” explain Helen and Rebecca. “The brief was to a develop specification that related to the creative market that live and work in Clerkenwell. The development was to stand out as an alternative product to what was available in the area already. As the development is 28 apartments in total, it was felt that the design could be unique, with a more bespoke and individual approach.
“The kitchen design was for a development in the Clerkenwell Quarter in London, with the brief being to design all of the interior specification that was then laid out over the 107 apartments in the development. This design was to be a clever combination of contemporary and unique. We used bespoke gloss cabinetry in combination with warm wood tones to create a sleek and stylish kitchen that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.”
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Tuesday 4th March 2014, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
