The Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town has completed an extensive $12.8 million renovation to the more than 300-room property in the heart of Old Town. Inspired by Pasadena’s historic charm and modern spirit, the refurbishment features an updated bar, gym and guest rooms, enhancing guest comfort and functionality for work, play and relaxation.
“This renovation brings a modern, luxurious experience to Old Town Pasadena, enriched with cultural and architectural elements unique to the neighbourhood,” said Craig Ballard, Managing Partner of Dauntless Capital Partners, which owns The Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town. “We are the base camp to what Pasadena has to offer – just a short walk from the convention centre and steps away from Old Town’s vibrant shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.”
At the forefront of the hotel’s renovations is the bar, which serves as the central gathering point for business and leisure guests and features an elevated food menu and hand-crafted cocktails. The area features a small library, business-friendly workspaces and design-forward lounge furniture perfect for relaxing, socializing and working.
The property offers nearly 6,000 sq. ft of event and meeting space, designed to reflect both the modern and historic aspects of Pasadena’s golden era. The property is situated in the heart of Old Town Pasadena and within walking distance of the Pasadena Convention Center, making it the ideal location for weddings, social gatherings and business events.
The property’s 314 revitalised guest rooms and suites feature wood and leather furniture, vibrant fixtures and art-deco design. In-room amenities include a business-friendly workstation with a spacious desk and comfortable chair, HDTV and free Wi-Fi to accommodate the needs of today’s business travellers. Additional on-site amenities include an indoor fitness centre equipped with Matrix equipment and a Peloton bike, a convenience store and an outdoor pool area with fire pits and a hot tub.
The property is nestled in the centre of Pasadena and conveniently located near the area’s other popular attractions, such as the Rose Bowl Stadium and Norton Simon Museum.
