April 2019 will see the launch of The Soak, a brand-new bar and restaurant in London’s Victoria.
Next to London’s Victoria station, The Soak will be the latest arrival on Victoria’s growing bar and restaurant scene, with a menu that is built around signature soaked flavours through fermenting, pickling, brining and steeping techniques.
Taking inspiration from the Grade II listed building it is housed in, the design has been influenced by the richness of a Parisian chateau – mixed with the vibrancy of the city that surrounds it. These two elements combined result in an experience that guests can feel immersed in and a space that you can move through effortlessly at all times of the day.
The team at the Soak have partnered with creative agency CAB and architectural firm MAS to bring their design vision to life. Together they designed the space to encompass the building’s period features with a delicate leaf interior design that is reflective of the beautifully carved foliage on the building’s exterior Victorian stonework.
The space also includes four distinct ‘zones’, which will enable guests to flow throughout different areas of the venue seamlessly, from day to night, from breakfast to cocktails.
