After transforming the Sebright Arms on Hackney Road from a boarded-up pub awaiting demolition to an East End institution, the team have now set their sights on Hackney Downs.
“The Vincent is about bringing together the best bits of what you want from your local restaurant; from grabbing a pastry for breakfast, to enjoying a long brunch with friends on the weekend or a burger and a beer after work,” says Charles Ross, Co-Founder of The Vincent.
“Having spent the last five years at the Sebright we are now ready for something new, so we are excited to have found a great site for The Vincent just up the road in Hackney Downs.”
The natural world has provided a key source of inspiration for the interior, which Charlies has designed alongside West Architecture and Bryon Pritchard.
Flooded with natural light, the space will be filled with greenery, tile-topped tables and booth seating – with 50 covers downstairs, 20 upstairs and a further 50 covers on the terrace in the warmer months.
