Set to offer a fresh take on luxury hospitality in the Hamptons, Three Ducks will open its doors in summer 2025. The hotel is a collaboration and debut property for designer-developers Randall Stone and Elizabeth Bakhash of Three Ducks Hospitality, a hospitality brand focused on creating design-forward properties that celebrate the locale. Stone and Bakhash first met while working at a New York brand and experience agency, where they discovered a shared passion for redefining hospitality through curated guest experiences.
A much-needed addition to the vibrant and newly revitalised Westhampton Beach, Three Ducks is a thoughtful redevelopment of the 70-year-old Westhampton Seabreeze Motel, set on a 1.6-acre parcel. With 12 rooms, the property blends upscale amenities, experience-forward design, and a refined yet approachable atmosphere that captures the ease and charm of the area. Every detail is carefully crafted to honour the surrounding natural beauty and inspire a sense of adventure. “We instantly recognised the potential here and jumped at the chance to create something truly special for visitors and locals alike,” said Stone.

Leveraging the agrarian heritage of the surrounding area, the hotel will consist of three distinct elements: The Barn, The Gardens, and The Guest House, each contributing to a connection to nature and a sense of calm.
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed into The Barn, the central hub of Three Ducks. This indoor-outdoor space greets visitors and offers a range of amenities throughout their stay, including breakfast, a Dahlia farmstand, and a Market with goods from local purveyors.
The Guest House is a combination of rooms and suites inspired by the local landscape and executed through functional, minimalist design. The hotel retained its 12 rooms while creating a sense of openness through vaulted ceilings and expansive windows with built-in window benches, inviting guests to take in the garden views. Materials were carefully selected to highlight natural textures and colours — handmade clay tile, wood flooring with distinctive grain, pebble-inspired lighting, and custom cabinetry stained light blue to create a tranquil, sky-like effect. “We were drawn to textures that evoke the feeling of wandering through a garden,” said Bakhash.
The Land has been transformed from a barren property into a lush, vibrant landscape featuring wildflower meadows, private gardens for each guest, and a central firepit for communal gatherings. Meandering paths invite exploration, providing peaceful spots to pause, read, or simply enjoy the surrounding nature.
“For us, luxury means more than just high-end finishes; it’s about creating an experience that feels rooted in the land and the community,” says Stone. “From morning croissants and fresh coffee to evening gatherings around a fire pit with local wines, the guest experience will center on immersion in the surroundings, connecting visitors to the spirit of the Hamptons in a way that’s both effortless and elegant.”

To engage travellers year-round, Three Ducks will offer a variety of seasonal activities, leaning into crafted experiences from birdwatching in the spring to flower arranging in early fall. “We aim to inspire guests to embrace the joy of travel, which in many cases is your first introduction to the hobbies, food, and people you love,” says Bakhash, “All while embodying a genuine spirit and a touch of fun.”
Three Ducks is designed to immerse guests in the unique charm of Westhampton through strong partnerships with local businesses. Access to dining at local restaurants, performing arts, golf clubs, beaches, and cultural events will further enrich the Three Ducks experience.
“We’re eager to share the vibrant energy of this community with travellers who want to engage with it in a meaningful way,” they say.
