Carlson Rezidor has announced the upcoming opening of the Park Inn by Radisson Rustaveli Tbilisi in Georgia. The mid-market property – which will feature 200 guest rooms – is scheduled to open in Q3 2015.
“We are delighted to introduce our dynamic brand Park Inn by Radisson to Georgia’s capital city and to further strengthen our presence in the country,” says Wolfgang M Neumann, president and CEO of Rezidor. Carlson Rezidor already operates the striking Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel, Tbilisi, and the contemporary Radisson Blu Hotel, Batumi in Georgia, and is developing new resort properties in Tsinandali and Gudauri.
Part of the conversion of an existing post office building, the Park Inn by Radisson Rustaveli Tbilisi is being designed to target the growing generation of young travellers. The complex is located next to the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel, on the most commercial street of Tbilisi, Rustaveli Avenue.
As well as the 200 modern and functional guest rooms, the hotel will comprise all-day dining restaurants, a lobby bar and surface car parking, as well as a wellness area with fitness centre and sauna. The hotel is also set to become popular with business travellers, thanks to its 250m² of well-equipped meeting space, business lounge and 200m² ballroom.
